Hark! The Herald Angels Sing for Piano, Organ, and Congregation
This joyful arrangement of “Hark! The Herald Angels Sing” for piano, organ, and congregation is just what you have been looking for as a memorable closer to your Christmas program this season. The congregation gets to experience the exhilarating and transporting feeling of participating directly in the program as they sing their regular parts directly from the hymnbook. The organist has the option to play directly from the hymnbook as well.* This means much less rehearsal time! Hope you enjoy performing this as much as I do!
A zip file will be sent to you following your purchase which contains 3 files: the piano part (4 pages), the organ part with piano cues (4 pages), and the score (8 pages). The text is included in both the organ part and score. You will be given a license for 5 copies which includes the organ and piano parts as well as a copy of the score for the pianist, organist, and chorister. Any additional copies will require an additional purchase. Unfortunately, I am not able to offer refunds so prior to your purchase, please be sure to compare your church hymnal with the sample page, audio, and video samples below.
Helpful hints: I recommend informing the congregation beforehand about the interlude between verses 1 and 2 so there are no unintended solos. 😉 Also, the chorister may want to use the organ part while conducting the congregation since it has fewer page turns.
*If the organist prefers to play from the hymn book rather than from the music I provide, they will need to utilize the transpose button for the key change.
